Choosing the right class is the first step in ensuring a successful and enjoyable race experience.
Here's a breakdown of what each
class requires:
1. Gold Class:
o Who it's for: Advanced riders with
top-tier skills, excellent fitness, and mental toughness.
o Difficulty: Extremely challenging terrain with sections deemed "impossible to ride" for most people.
o Expectations: You need to be able to ride fast, even in the most intense conditions.
Only a small number of riders can finish this class, and you're vetted by race
organizers.
2. Silver Class:
o Who it's for: Experienced riders who may aspire to Gold or those with a significant
amount of hard enduro experience.
o Difficulty: Trails are almost as tough as Gold but slightly less intense and shorter. Still
requires excellent physical and mental toughness.
o Expectations: You need to maintain a fluent riding style across challenging sections.
3. Bronze Class:
o Who it's for: Beginners or those new to hard enduro.
o Difficulty: Challenging but more manageable for newcomers to the sport. If you have
some enduro experience but are new to Hard Enduro, this is where you start.
o Expectations: You should have basic technical riding skills, moderate physical fitness,
and the ability to recover and keep going after tough sections.
