Ride your bike, stay fit and stay healthy. The best in the world can hope on any bike and ride it harder and faster then any of us mere mortals can possible imagine. So invest your time and money in improving you.


Although technique and fitness is important. Bike setup is crucial to an enjoyable ride. Suspension is number one. This doesn't mean spending 100s of dollars on suspension tuning rather, playing with you clickers. Write down your base settings then just start playing with your rebound, compression and preload. It is only if your suspension is still way off that you should consider different springs or suspension tuning.


Tires/inserts are a crucial part to all racing and riding, your type and style of riding is going to have a heavy influence on your choice. For the competitive had enduro riders the best setup is a soft one, the softer the better. So that you can comfortable push the tire down at least 1/3 of the way to the rim. Riders that dabble in both hard sections of track and fast flowy enduro track are best with a half mousse tubeless setup. Which allows you to drop your tire pressure to nothing with no risk a flat. Then rise it back up allowing for a lively response bike on the fast flow singles. Finally enduro riders are now days better off using a hard mousse removing any chance a pesky flat.
